10/30 - A Prayer

In my wandering, Lord help me to stay close to You.

In my crying out, help me to be still, to listen.

Lord in my frustration, help me to be hopeful.

And in my restlessness, may I be planted.

In my life filled with contradictions,

Let me be consistent in this one thing:

That I love, desire, and pursue You above all things.

That my heart will be filled with your joy,

My ears with Your voice,

My mouth filled with Your goodness,

And my eyes fixed on You, my King.
